About BEST
BEST International
BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political student organisation. It’s made by students for students. Since 1989 BEST provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe.
More than 80 so-called Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 30 European countries are creating a growing, well organised, powerful, young and innovative student network.
BEST strives to provide European students of technology with development opportunities, so that they become more internationally minded and reach a better understanding of European cultures by broadening their knowledge of other cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. BEST hopes to bring a significant added value to the services provided by universities, for increasing the potential contribution of students to their communities. To reach the given aims BEST creates opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through academic and non-academic courses and educational symposia.
The priority of BEST is to offer high quality services for students all over Europe and manage to bring all the partners in the “student – company – university” triangle closer.

Local BEST Group Graz
We, BEST Graz are about 15 students at Graz University of Technology and although we are coming from different fields of studies, we have one thing in common: we are internationally minded and we are motivated to learn more than our studies can give us.
We are a member of BEST Graz in order to reach a better understanding of European diversity. We want to broaden our mind, by acquiring knowledge about other cultures and we want to develop our capacities on an international basis. We want to learn project management not only theoretically in classes, but apply our knowledge by organising different events – for local students as well as for students coming from European universities.
BEST Graz is one of the 80 Local Best Groups (LBGs) around Europe. Since April 2008 we are a very proud full member amoung the local BEST groups.
BEST Graz is an association registered in Austria with the aim to provide students of technology with development opportunities so that they could become more internationally minded. The priority of BEST is to offer high quality services for students and manage to bring all the partners in the “student – company – university” triangle closer. In order to achieve its aim, BEST Graz makes it possible for all the students at Graz University of Technology to participate at public BEST academic and non-academic courses.
